A modest wasp could spare Christmas Island's stupendous red crabs from insane ants

In what could be the most nearly investigated natural control extend in Australia, a 2mm wasp is being discharged to control a savage subterranean insect invasion
Have you heard the one about the wasp that slaughters the bug that sustains the ants that execute the crabs that keep the timberlands sound on Christmas Island?

In the coming weeks, Parks Australia will discharge a 2mm wasp on Christmas Island to control the island's yellow insane insect pervasion. Insane ants are a major risk to the island's natural life, including its celebrated red crabs.
