New crab species offers name with two 'Harry Potter' characters and a legend analyst

This is the new crab species and variety 

A recently discovered crab named after "Harry Potter" wizards may not be mystical, but rather its revelation is surely captivating.

The late Harry Conley, an ex-Marine turned scientist, uncovered the minor scavanger while burrowing along the shores of Guam, a U.S. domain situated in the western Pacific Ocean.

The new crab is small — only 0.3 by 0.2 inches (7.9 by 5.6 millimeters), the scientists said. Conley discovered it while diving in the coral rubble and shakes along Guam's drift, around 6.5 feet (2 meters) underneath the water's surface amid a low tide in 1998.

In the mid 2000s, Conley gave his immeasurable accumulations from Guam to Gustav Paulay, a custodian of marine malacology at the Florida Museum of Natural History, who thusly offered them to Peter Ng, a scholar at the National University of Singapore, who co-created the new review.
